Every Thursday, a new set of finished audio fiction is sent to readers around the world. Here's our complete archive.
Featuring MALEVOLENT & ALICE ISN'T DEAD, + 2 complete series, 7 finished seasons, and 2 season restarts!
This is issue #100 of The End's newsletter. Wow. For 100 weeks, I've been sending out these updates, and it's been a heck of a lot of fun! Regardless of when you subscribed, thank you very much. I'm stoked to bring you the next 100 issues!
If you're a long-time subscriber, you may remember when The End was only a newsletter. But we've grown way beyond our simple beginnings.
As I tell every creator who submits a show to our directory, my goal is for The End to become the second-best place for people to find the latest information about every completed (season or series level) fiction podcast, audio drama, and more. The best place should be the show's website or page, but not every show has one. I've built each show page to give listeners exactly what they need, including links to listen on all relevant audio platforms.
But I designed those pages for creators too, specifically those using linktree, podlink, or some other service. If that's you, compare your landing page with the show page on The End. And make the switch! Your potential listeners need more information beyond listening links. And all of it is on your show page here at The End, so share it!
That's enough jibber-jabber out of me. Let's get into it, shall we?

Featuring ELIZA: A ROBOT STORY & THE BOOK OF CONSTELLATIONS, + 5 complete series, and 4 finished seasons!
Only one show (that I'm aware of, at least) finished in the last week. But that's OK, as I've recently added plenty more finished and finale'd audio fiction shows to our database I'd missed previously. That's what I do, after all!
A big thanks to the team at Netflix (yes, that Netflix) for becoming the Title Sponsor of The End. They've a brand new show coming out called The Seneschal: A Rebel Moon Story, and I'm looking forward to listening when the last episode is published.
Wanna be our next Title Sponsor? It's ridiculously cheap right now. Check out all the waysâcurrentlyâyou can support The End with incredibly tiny amounts of money. Small donors working together make a big difference, as seen recently in US politics!
Finally, I'm really getting into the swing of making Collections. The two featured in this issue are brand new, and I've one more to create today, hopefully before this publishes. If you've an idea for a clever and helpful collection of finished audio fiction shows you'd like to see, just reply to this email!

Featuring DELIVERY & ZOINKS!, + 1 complete series, 7 finished seasons, and season restarts!
Dr. Wife has returned from her travels abroad, but she brought an unwelcome souvenir: COVID. Until that time, we'd both been members of the no-COVID club. She can no longer say that. But weirdly enough, I can! Three negative tests for me, even living with a virus-shedder. I chalk my successful dodging to having six different mRNA vaccines so far. Stay safe out there, my friends!
Have I mentioned how much I love all of you who are supporting our efforts here at The End? To date, that's 38 of you, including my latest supporters, Ger and Martin, the creators of I think I've met you but also know I haven't; and also Chris CÎté! Much appreciation, fellas.
Want me to say nice things about you and do your part to help keep the fires burning at The End? Visit our support page and help us out. It's hecka cheap on purpose!

Featuring THE ANGEL OF VINE & WOLF 359, + 3 complete series, 5 finished seasons, and 3 season restarts!
I've been bacheloring it for the last week as the amazing Doctor Wife has been at a conference in Toronto. Her plane arrives in about an hour, so I'm doing the last-minute household chores so it doesn't look like a bachelor lived here while she was away! And when I clean the house, I almost always do it while listening to some great audio fiction in my ears. Also, because I listen a lot, the house stays pretty clean. This final sweep shouldn't take me too long.
I didn't beg for your financial support in last week's newsletter, but that didn't stop PJ@ThePharm for becoming our latest Individual Sponsor! Thank you, PJ. Your supportâwhile it may seem very smallâgoes a long way in helping make The End sustainable. I appreciate you!
Speaking of that, you'll notice we've a new Title Sponsor! A big thanks to the team at Gen-Z Media for advertising with us. Check out their show, Six Minutes, for a thrilling adventure for the whole family!
You too can be like PJ or GZM by visiting our Support page and choosing an option that works for you. All of it is terribly under-priced, I know, but that's on purpose to make it easy for more people to contribute!
OK, this house isn't going to clean itself. Let's get into it, shall we?

Featuring TERMS & EVERYONE'S HAPPY, + 2 complete series, and 6 finished seasons!
Happy 248th birthday, America! Though Ben Franklin's ominous "... if you can keep it" line is and has been living rent-free in my head. It's also election day in the UK and was recently an election day for much of "The Continent," I'm told it's referred to across the pond. If you haven't yet, please vote. If you're not planning to, please reconsider and vote. A shockingly low percentage of eligible voters vote, even when Democracy itself is on the ballot. And it is. Take it from me, eVOTErra. Vote.
Today's issue is light, which I chalk up to a mix of summer time and the aforementioned stuff. Mostly the latter. Apropos of just that, today's Featured Titles and Collections are rather inspired, I think you'll find.
Speaking of that, if you know of a show I need to add to a Collection, please reach out! We've almost 900 titles in our directory of finished audio fiction, and sometimes it's hard for me to figure out what a show is about from the description. So yes, chime in!
I have some Cowboy Caviar to make so I can, oddly enough, spend the holiday with a British family. IÂ wonder what we'll talk about?

Featuring MIDST & THE LESSER DEAD, + 6 complete series, 4 finished seasons, and 1 season restart!
I'm freshly back from a quick trip to New England where I rediscovered (relatively) cool temperatures and deep green forests. I'd say I came back refreshed but it was a wedding with an open bar and the wrong team won the Stanley Cup this year, so... yeah.
I'm super stoked to thank both Sara J. and Keiani for becoming our most recent Individual Supporters! Seriouslyâyour small annual contribution of less than $25 is quite helpful, and I appreciate your support. Though, in the full spirit of transparency, that brings the total number of Individual Supporters and Supporting Creative Shops to 33. Thirty-three. All of whom I'm quite thankful of. But, as you can see, IÂ could use a few more. So, if you have a spare $25 burning a hole in your pocket, please check out the Support page and make your choice.
Also, I need to express my thanks for my friends at Headliner. That's the app I use to create all of the audiograms from the trailers of recently-complete shows that are posted to our YouTube channel. No, the videos don't have high view counts, and YouTube isn't the best way to consume audio fiction. But I've been pleasantly surprised how many times these videos are served by "the algorithm," so I'll keep it up with the help of my friends at Headliner.

Featuring CLOSE YOUR EYES & PRESTIGE, + 7 complete series, 8 finished seasons, and 1 season restart!
The druids that haunt my dreams tell me it's the Summer Solstice todayâor Winter Solstice if you are closer to the South Pole than the Northâwhich means you're about to get hotter or colder. Probably more of either than you've ever experienced. So far, at least. Either way, I've got a slew of finished audio fiction to tell you about this week!
But before IÂ do that, I need to thank both Jordhana Rempel and Anthony Driscoll for becoming the latest individual supporters of The End! Much love and thanks, Jordhana and Anthony. Y'all are my kind of people, and I greatly appreciate your efforts to help us keep The End running as we get closer to our 2nd year anniversary. Woot!
You, too, can be like Jordhana and Anthony if you've a spare $25 burning a hole in your pocket. And that's for an entire year! So, again, pretty please with the immersive sound of a cherry being delicately placed on top, please check out the Support page and help us out!
I'm traveling this weekend to a wedding in the woods of New Jersey and have yet to pack so...

Featuring BIRDS OF EMPIRE & LIARS & LEECHES; + 5 complete series, 3 finished seasons, and 3 season restarts!
With apologies to my readers in geographies where winter approachesâit's hella hot here. Yeah, yeah... I'm the one who decided to live in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm not looking for your sympathies. Just griping about the heat. Which I will do from now until October. đ„”
A huge thanks this week to Briar for becoming our latest Individual Supporter! Your support helps us keep the lights on around here, and your name has been added to the listing along with our other supporters. Thank you! And if you want to be like Briarâand you really, really want to be like Briarâit's dirt-cheap to support us!
On a personal note; my mood is improving. I suppose I need to give some credit to adjusted meds. But I think a lot of if is from binge watching crazy animated series every night. If you haven't seen Scavengers Reign, you haven't been subjected to the weirdest series now streaming. Doesn't matter if you watch it high, drunk, or sober. You'll feel like you are on the trippiest of trips!

Featuring MODES OF THOUGHT IN ANTERRAN LITERATURE & GOODBYE BLUE MONDAYS, + 5 complete series, and 9 finished seasons!
There's a lot going on in my world, and it's bringing a mixed bag of feelings that I'm lumping under "June Gloom." Some highlightsâI turn 56 on Monday, my wife will have her doctorate a few days afterwards, two big trips I'm not sure how I'll pay for (yes I doâcredit)Â are on my calendar, there's a huge "heat dome" over already-too-hot-for-humans Phoenix, and then there's the slew of general bullshit surrounding local, national, and global politics that directly impacts me and the people IÂ love.
So... yeah. It's a lot. And audio fiction has provided a huge respite. At least thrice weekly over the last month or so, I've donned my noise-canceling headphones and escaped the world for a whileâsometimes for an entire day. It helps, so thanks to all the creators who do this, most of whom will never recoup their investments to give you and me this great content.
Speaking of finances, I humbly ask that you consider supporting The End. I've made the contribution amounts very small on purpose, hopefully putting them well within reach of most people with the means to access the directory and these newsletter issues. It's less than $0.50 per issue if you only get the newsletter. And if you also visit the website from time to time to find out when your favorite shows are coming back, that per-visit cost gets down to pennies! So please check out the Support page and choose an option that works for you.

Featuring THE LOVE TALKER & JUMP LEADS, + 5 complete series, 3 finished seasons, and 3 season restarts!
Break out the trumpets: đș The database overhaul is done! đș Every finished audio fiction show in our directoryâ859 as of this newsletter editionâhas now been moved to the new template. Now, much to the joy of all creators, there's a single entry for each show with all the trimmings. Dead-simple listening links (with emphasis on those apps that do a better job for fiction podcasts). Clear(?) information on the status of the show, be it coming soon, slated for the future, or even crowdfunding links. And an easier-to-read(?)Â layout. Both Allie and I are tired now. That was a lot of work! But it was necessary work, as my goal is to make pages on The End the second-best place to get information about your favorite finished audio fiction show. (The best place is, or rather should be, the show's website.)
And at least one person loves the new changesâCeleste! Thank you very much for becoming an Individual Supporter of The End. Your contribution helps us keep the lights on around here. And for the rest of you lot: it's less than $25 for an entire year! So please consider supporting The End today.
Last note: My wife and I celebrated 35 years of blissful(?) marriage last Monday. I assume all of you who were drinking on that day were actually toasting to us and our next 35. Now if someone can just invent a Cymek body for us, because these meat suits are wearing out.
Let's get into it, shall we?
