Every Thursday, a new set of finished audio fiction is sent to readers around the world. Here's our complete archive.
Featuring Deviser & IN THE CARDS + 4 complete series, 4 season finales, and 6 new seasons coming soon.
Since we won't see each other again until after the holiday—happy Halloween! I hope you get all the candy you wanted.
Special thanks to our new Title Sponsor—The Crossing Guard Tapes! There's a new season (of this very weird slow burn) coming soon. Check it out below. And if you're interested in sponsoring The End, get in touch!
Consider this email the calm before the storm, with some shorter offerings and some shows that have been out for a while. Next week, I expect a flood of finales and completions, as a lot of creators love ending things on Oct 31 for some odd reason.
Oh, and welcome all the new folks. We're now at over 1,800 subscribers. 🥳 Hooray! Tell your friends.

Featuring Who Killed Avril Lavigne? & We Fix Space Junk + 4 complete series, 2 season finales, and 9 new seasons coming soon!
Earlier this week, I discovered a massive problem that blocked literally hundreds of people from getting these emails. I've now—in theory—corrected those problems and have added all the phantom emails addresses to the list. Hello, all 1,790 of you!
If this is the first newsletter from us you've received; welcome! If it's been a while since we were in your inbox and you were wondering why; welcome back!
But if you had intentionally unsubscribed and are wondering why you're getting this again; my apologies. Click this unsubscribe link and, now that I have confidence that unsubscribes are legit (my old system unsubscribed me, even!), you'll not hear from us again.
With that out of the way, bring on the finished audio fiction! Lots of different forms and some older titles you might have missed in this issue.

Petrified & Conference Call + 4 complete series, 4 season finales, and 6 new seasons coming soon!
It's Halloween in two and a half weeks, so I hope you're already stocked up on candy. I think I have some leftover candy corn from like 1972 if you want some, because that stuff is nasty. No matter what my wife says.
Four quick things to tell you before I unleash a slate of shows upon you:

Unwell & Small Victories + 7 complete series, 2 season finales, and 7 new seasons coming soon!
Happy October to all who celebrate! Or, as my wife calls it: Halloween month. Seriously. Our condo looks like it could be occupied by The Addams Family.
This is my second time sending the newly formatted emails on the new email service. I've received no complaints, so I'm assuming all is well. As is my wont, I'm continually tweaking my settings to make this better for you and easier on me.
Before I get to the titles—and many of these are fantastic—I want to give special recognition to my Founding Supporters. Even though I recently lowered—like, by a lot—the pricing on the Support Tiers, Charlotte, Alex, Ellen, and Ben graciously and generously kept their contributions the same. They now occupy a place of honor at the end of this email and on the website. And have my everlasting thanks.
I'd love to give you everlasting thanks as well. Just visit the Support page to see how stinkin' cheap it is to help lend your support to The End and the cause of audio fiction.

Desert Skies & Tumanbay + 1 complete series, 3 season finales, and 15 new seasons coming soon!
Wow, but was that a lot of heavy lifting on my part! But the pain is over now, and things are much, much better. For me and for you. Here's why.
First, this email newsletter is much better. All of you Gmail users (me too) will rejoice in seeing the entire email in your mail app. At least most of the time. I'm keeping this as un-styled as possible to stay within Google's size limits. But really long episodes like this will probably still trip things up, so click the collage of images above to see the issue on the fancy-pants website.
But that's just the start.
What I'm most excited about is the massive upgrade to the website itself. It not only looks better, but it functions better, and I'm not yet done upgrading. Look for Apple and Spotify links to the shows listed, plus a search box that returns meaningful results!
This is V2.0 of the site, and I plan on adding more features and functionality as we move forward. I'll mention the big milestones here in this introductory paragraph, so watch this space.
But for now, I've a slew of shows to tell you about. Let's get into it, shall we?

Gay Future & Mirrors + 2 complete series, 3 season finales, and 14 new seasons coming soon
To those of you who drive on roads straight east-to-west in the morning or evening; my condolences. I live downtown with plenty of tall glass buildings to keep the burning ball of fission fire in my eyes anytime I'm behind the wheel. Good thing I have some audio fiction to keep me company.
The new website is so, so close to being ready to launch. Thanks to those who've helped proof it so far. (And yes, if you want a preview, I'll send you a seekrit link!)
But this much website work has really cut into my listening-to-audio-fiction time, so I'm pulling from my early episodes to re-feature two of my favorites. Oh, and there's once again a huge amount of shows returning with new seasons. Like... really huge.

The Deca Tapes & Passenger List +5 complete stories, 1 season finale, and 11 new seasons coming soon!
I need your thoughts and prayers, faithful readers. My mother-in-law is in town. Yes, the struggle is real. (Nah, I'm kidding. I get along great with my mother-in-law. Always have!)
A quick update on the new website and newsletter: I'm making solid progress, but it's a process that I really don't want to rush, so I'm not going to. With luck, I'll have all the kinks ironed out next week. But if not... Not. Pushing it to the end of the month is probably a good idea.

The Bright Sessions & The Dog Is Dead + 1 complete series, 4 season finales, and 10 new seasons coming soon!
Good news! I finally figured out the CSS issues that have been vexing me for the past few weeks. So it's with a fair degree of confidence I tell you that in 2 weeks time, I should have a brand new newsletter format and a new website!
But that does mean some costs are increasing. So if you've the means to help contribute a teeny-tiny amount each month (or more—I'm not stopping you), please consider supporting The End. It makes a huge difference.

Midst & The Book of Constellations + 1 complete series, 3 season finales, and 9 new seasons coming soon!
This crazy experiment focusing on finished audio fiction started 52 weeks ago—and we're still here and going strong!
I had hoped to have a brand new website and newsletter template launched today, but I underestimated the effort. Which is a nice way to say I overestimated my own design skills. Which are very, very poor. If you happen to be a CSS wizard with Webflow experience, I desperately need your help. Please? Just reply to this email.
The featured titles this week are blasts from the past. Not a lot of people were reading in the early days of this newsletter, so I'm giving some extra love to the shows I've been most drawn to over the years. If they passed you by, enjoy them now!
Also, there are a lot of entries in the New Seasons Coming Soon section. And it looks like there will be for a few weeks. You'll see what I mean.

Wolf 359 & Zoinks! + 2 series completions, 6 season finales, and 7 new seasons coming soon! 🎧😲
I wasn't the best student in elementary school, but I do remember that there are 52 weeks in a year. That means next week is the one year anniversary of The End! 🥳 Lots of things will be changing next week. Assuming I get all the work done. Working on it!
A big shout out to our latest supporter, Ellen Keating! Your contribution helps keep this train running, Ellen. My deepest thanks. (Want me to say nice things about you? Consider becoming a supporter of The End!)
