Bill Dufris

Bill started his career in audio drama with legendary BBC Director Dirk Maggs in the early 1990s before starting his own production company. After 15 years in London he returned to the US and has worked extensively on audiobooks and audio dramas since then, including HorrorScopes, Titanium Rain, Startruck, The Perhapanauts and Molly Danger. In 2014, Bill and Fred were commissioned by Audible to develop the audio version of Locke and Key, the graphic novel saga by Joe Hill and Gabe Rodriguez. Along with co-creators at AudioComics, they adapted and produced the award-winning 13.5 hour audio drama with over 50 cast members including Haley Joel Osment, Tatiana Maslany, Kate Mulgrew, and Stephen King. Locke and Key was recorded on location in New England – in catacombs, creepy old houses, woods, beaches, the trunks of cars.
